In the following we list the main visits, to our Centers, of external researchers to collaborate with the project research team
2014
- Research stay from May 16th, 2014 to June 11th, 2014, of Prof. Ronald Goldman at the University of Alcala,
in the frame of a Giner de los Rios' grant,
to work with Juan G. Alcázar and J.R. Sendra on the topic
"Morphology of algebraic surfaces" (goals related to applications in CAGD).
- Research stay, November 1-27, 2014, of prof. H. Hong (North Carolina Sate University and Editor
in Chief of the Journal of Symbolic Computation) to the Universidad de Alcalá, in the frame of a Giner de los Ríos Grant,
to work, among others, in the topics of the project.
During this stay, on 14th November 2014, T. Recio, L. González-Vega (U. de Cantabría) and J. R. Sendra (U. de Alcalá) met
at the Universidad de Alcalá to work on the real solutions of polynomial systems (problem related to all goals of the project)
as well as on the dissemination of the achieved results in the project.
2013
- Research stay, September 2013 till February 2014, at the Universidad de Alcalá of G. Grasegger
(Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, Austria) to work with J.R. Sendra on the existence and computation of rational and radical solutions
of algebraic differential equations (goal 1.2.1)
- Research stay, from 26th february till 2nd of march, at the U. Cantabria of S. Weitzhofer
(University J.Kepler, Linz) to work with T. Recio on automatic theorem proving in dynamic geometry (goal 2.4.1.)
- Research stay, June 2-8, at the Universidad de Murcia, of prof. Henri Lombardi
(U. de Franche-Comté, France) to work with G.M. Díaz Toca (U. de Murcia) on the study
of Hermite's normal form and Smith's normal form in Prüfer domains. (goal 1.1.4).
- Research stay of Georg Muntingh, post-doctoral researcher at SINTEF (Oslo, Norway), in between December 3-20th 2013,
to work on detection of similarities between rational curves, and symmetries of 3D rational curves.

- Research stay, April 9-14, at the Universidad de Cantabria, of prof. Henri Lombardi
(U. de Franche-Comté, France) to work with G.M. Díaz Toca (U. de Murcia) on the study
of Hermite's normal form and Smith's normal form in Prüfer domains. (goal 1.1.4).
- Research stay, May 20 - 23, at the Universidad de Cantabria of prof. S. Basu (U. Purdue) and prof. M.F. Roy (U. Rennes I) to work with
the subproject-2 team
on the study of real solutions for polynomial systems (all goals).
